At ZMC We offer a convenient outpatient program for patients who need frequent infusions, injections, and other specialty services. It is staffed with experienced registered nurses Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m.– 5p.m.
We provide many services including, but not limited to: intravenous (IV) therapy for autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, MS, and Crohn’s disease; specialized intravenous medications including Remicade and Prolastin; intravenous antibiotics; injections; anemia management therapy and Vit B12 therapy.
Ketamine infusion therapy is an alternative treatment for Pain, depression and anxIrtysh treatment disorder that works faster, better, and safer than conventional treatments.
Rehydration is the cornerstone of treatment for cholera. Oral rehydration salts and, when necessary, intravenous fluids and electrolytes, if administered in a timely manner and in adequate volumes, will reduce fatalities to well under 1% of all patients.
Patients with severe acute malnutrition should receive oral rehydration with low-osmolarity ORS solution instead of the standard rehydration solution for diarrhea, ReSoMal. ReSoMal does not have sufficient sodium content to replace the losses from cholera 2. Breastfed infants should continue to breastfeed. Other types of fluids, such as juice, soft drinks, and sports drinks should be avoided.
